New website on community heritage: Now and Then

The Now and Then website - from the Collections Council of Australia - uses wiki technology to enable communities to share, record and explore information about their history, cultural heritage and life today.

The Collections Council of Australia worked with the Mallala and Districts Historical Committee and its Museum in regional South Australia to develop this new resource.

The Mallala community can learn about the places, people, events, organisations and things that make up their history and heritage in addition to adding new information including memories of Mallala which would otherwise be lost. Anyone is able to join in and contribute.
